Introduction. Univar Solutions Inc., including all affiliates listed in its Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs), is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and suppliers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Univar Solutions supports the fundamental rights to privacy and data protection, as well as compliance with national and international privacy laws.

Personal Information You Provide to Us. Univar Solutions collects your personal information when you create an account, call us, browse our website, use online account tools, report service issues, complete surveys, enter contests and promotions, or otherwise communicate with us. This personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name and contact information such as billing address, email address and phone numbers. We may also collect information about your account and your use of our services, which may include your account number, billing and payment history.

As a global organization with offices and sites around the world, we may share and transfer your personal information between Univar Solution entities. Our third-party service providers are required to use adequate privacy protections and may use the personal information only for the purpose of providing services to Univar Solutions. Univar Solutions does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Univar Solutions may transfer your personal information outside the country or geographic region in which you are located. Where we do so, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Where applicable we ensure appropriate Data Processing Agreements are in effect.

A transaction of this type may involve the disclosure of your information to prospective purchasers or partners. Public Forums We may offer chat rooms, blogs, message boards, bulletin boards or similar public forums where you and other users of our website can communicate. Children’s Privacy We do not knowingly collect information from children to sell or promote our products or services. Security Univar Solutions follows industry-standard practices to secure the information we collect to prevent the unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of information. These security practices include technical, administrative, and physical safeguards. Univar Solutions applies appropriate measures to protect the personal information in Univar Solutions’ possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Univar Solutions takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personal information.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

Turkey. If you are a Turkish resident, under the Turkish Data Protection Law your privacy rights also include the following:
