Synthetic esters are utilized in synthetic greases for both high and low temperature and respond favorably to additives used to enhance performance - such as antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, anti-wear agents, and load carrying additives. The level of solvency along with with low toxicity and excellent biodegradability of ester molecules provide unique properties.
