Our Solutions

Wear is predominately caused by friction and contact between surfaces after break-through of the lubricating film. This issue is combated by the addition of anti-wear (AW) additive packages to the lubricant formulations which chemically lay down a sacrificial layer to protect the surfaces from contacting each other.
