Chassis

Motor vehicle chassis systems are comprised of multiple sub systems such as frame, suspension, shock absorbers, wheels/tires, linkages, steering systems and brake systems, among others. Given the broad range of applications and ever changing conditions due to vehicle exposure, it is important to understand the particular chassis application and condition to select the best lubricant which meets the particular requirements. Often times a broad range of lubricant types are required to fulfill the lubrication needs of chassis applications. Lubricant certification through NLGI can be a helpful starting point for greases.
